Gone Till December

Could write a haiku
But I don't know how many
Syllables to use.

brain itches Theme by Adam Holwerda.
We are safe and sound, hostel-sitting for John and Jill at the Casa Mariposa (perhaps the best hostel in all of Costa Rica).  We are greatly enjoying the experience and the downtime.  We have meet many travelers from all over, exchanged valuable travel advice, and made some fast friendships.  It’s great to talk to others who have already been to destinations that are on our list.  There seems to be a general consensus among travelers (ourselves included) that Lonely Planet guidebooks are awful.  It has been a common theme in discussions, in fact, that most guidebooks only know what they’re talking about when it comes to the most visited (aka crowded) destinations in a given area.  So there’s our nest egg: I think Elena and I are going to have to co-pen a best selling travel book.  Unfortunately for friends and family, that means we’re going to do a lot more traveling.  But don’t worry, you can visit us and we’ll tell you where to stay!
We will be finised watching the hostel on Wednesday, the 26th when we will make the long bus trip to the Carribean to spend some time with our good friend the beach (and Tom!).  Tom and his brother Ryan are coming to visit us for a week, and we’re looking forward to some friendly faces.
If you’re interested in making a reservation (or, you know, giving us a call at the Casa Mariposa) the number is (506)-2742-5037.  No, that is not too many numbers.  You just have to figure out how to call internationally.  Might be pricey, but aren’t we worth it??
